DECA is an association of students, who are planning careers in marketing, business, management, hospitality and entrepreneurship. DECA students participate in competitions and community service fundraisers.

The AB Fishing Club is a multi species, learning, and noncompetitive club. The group attends local and free events that we host or sponsor. This is no fee club open to all students who reside in the ABSD area.

The purpose of HOSA is to develop leadership and technical HOSA skill competencies through a program of motivation, awareness, and recognition, which is an integral part of the Health Science Education instructional program. National Honor Society (NHS)
NHS is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
Four main purposes have guided chapters of NHS from the beginning: to create enthusiasm for scholarship; to stimulate a desire to render service; to promote leadership; and to develop character in the students of secondary schools. These purposes also translate into criteria used for membership selection in each local chapter.

The purpose of this group is to educate the student body about the negative effects of bullying and to provide a support system for victims of bullying.

Relay for Life
Would you like to help fight against cancer? Then this is the club for you! The Relay for Life club of Anchor Bay High School raises money for the American Cancer Society. We have raised well over $30,000 since the club began. At the end of the school year, you are also able to participate in the actual Relay for Life Event of New Baltimore. This is a 24 hour event that will be held at Middle School North, usually the 3rd weekend in May. Students, staff, and other Relayers walk the track. Walking on the track you will raise money, have fun, and celebrate the lives of cancer survivors and remember those who have lost their battle to cancer. Anyone is welcome to join the Relay for Life team at ABHS.

The purpose of the group is to educate other Anchor Bay students about the consequences of their decisions. The main focus is to educate students about the destructive decisions involving drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
